Chennai: Over 50 per cent of Chennai’s eligible population have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
On the other hand, only 12 per cent of the eligible population have received two doses of jabs.
Meanwhile, a whopping 71 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses are in the pipeline for Tamilnadu in July from the Union government supply.
Speaking to the media, Health Minister M Subramanian said that the Union government would give 71 lakh doses to the state in different phases throughout the month.
