Visited this place for a quick bite. And what better to order here other than Chana Bhatura – one of the few items this place is Famous for, or so we thought.
Who knew this would be one harrowing experience.
The Chana Bhatura was the Worst I have ever had..And, being an ardent fan, I\’ve had Chana Bhatura at the dingiest & dirtiest of places (a thela at Kashmere Gate Bus Terminal, for instance).
The chana were just fine, nothing really great about it as you would expect from a place Famous for something.
But the Bhature were the icing on the cake. The Bhature served here were the smallest I have ever seen & as thick as 2 stuffed naans put together. Inside each bhatura was a thick layer of uncooked bread & minimal stuffing.
Paneer or any such stuffing was no where visible..just thick white bread everywhere.
When we tried talking to the staff about the issue, there was rudeness at best.
Telling the customer you\’ve been selling this for 20-25 years by no means justifies the fact that you have served ill-prepared food atleast at this instance.
Plus explaining the difference between a puri & bhatura only implies you consider your customers dumb.

All in all..this visit was simply Hopeless & we totally regret going to this place or even considering this place\’s Chana Bhatura as probably something good.
I (still) fail to understand the reason behind Roshan Di Kulfi\’s Chana Bhatura being considered Good & Famous..unable to find out during the last 2-3 times & definitely do not plan to try any further.
My Suggestion: SKIP THIS PLACE, lest you want (sometimes) ok food & the most pathetic service experience. Have chana bhatura at some thela instead..much better taste, much lesser price & the guys behave too.
